Default Trophy Season -Day 2

Tough day but thankfully a good one. Got 2 overs and 3 slot fish today. Lots of debris floating, no jellies though. Hit something submerged while running back to the slip but didn't seem to do any damage. Bad reports from yesterday, Bumpy, and chilly day kept many boats at the dock today and it was much nicer as the Captain then yesterday.
All fish hit chutes, nothing on umbrellas. 1 hit a boat rod and 4 were off boards. Chartruse beat white 3-2 today.

Jeff,
Sounds like you did well indeed. Sorry for the late report, but I stayed on the boat all weekend and didn't have a computer. We only managed one fish on Saturday luckily or unluckily it was 40 1/2". Sunday we fished till 11:30 and got one fish 35 1/2". At least they were keepers. We did manage to get a limit of jellies and then some. All we needed was some peanut butter and we would have had great sandwiches. We ended up moving south and managed to get rid of them on Saturday. Both fish hit umbrellas off boards out 40-50' one 4 oz and one 9 oz lure. Big fish was in 33 feet other fish in 48'. We were a little south of Deal.
Good news is that temps are going to be in the upper 30's in the morning this weekend. Jesus, will this winter ever end?
Good luck to all. Keep the reports coming.
