Default Getting better

HI all,

After the first week of wind and hit and miss fishing it seems to be settling down. The pattern we had in preseason is holding. Most of our fish are coming from western side and 40' is the magic depth. Fish have came from the ship's to down at deal. Zig zaging in and out in an east west direction. The end of the tide has been best, most fish caught in last hour of current. All produce at times, boards boat and down diggers. Sparkle lures have been good..aliens with Mylar sparkle shads. Have not caught on 6" all come from 9" shads. Afternoon has been better when traffic gets lighter. Have not seen much bait or fish on metro ,fish come often when metro is blank. If we snag bait or catch fish we work the area hard. Looking forward to coming week, should be good.

Good luck

Jimmy

Thanks for the post. I plan to try that area again tomorrow so hopefully some fish got left behind for me.

All good observations and I have had similar results with similar lures.
