we put out around 11 went out into the river to give the boat a shake down after the winter. looked for rockfish deep, found some on channel edges and on drop offs, as well as some humps. didn't catch any

we on and found a sharp drop off, marking a bait, but could not hook up.

Fished the bridge pilings to finish up the day.

We finished up the day with 0 fish.

rather then stay out in the wind we packed up and went to the fishing fair at the Solomons Island fire house.

Well that makes 4 people I've heard from who caught little more than colds yesterday.

Still beats being at work, right?

How was the Solomon's Island fair? Would like to make it down there next year.

the fair was really good i thought. The MSSA put the fair on. there were a lot of businesses selling trolling rigs, some offshore stuff, and some crabbing stuff. We bought some buck tail rigs.

anytime i can get out on the boat, it is better then a day at work

We were in a 19ft center console. the boat is light, so it does get tossed around in the wind.
