Default Getting better....4/14

Got the crew up a little earlier today and left the dock at 8. Fished the anchorage- started up top then worked south once the sailboats started showing up for a regatta. Had 5 knockdowns that popped the clips but didn't come tight. Caught 1 fish at 33". Single chart alien was the hot ticket for me. Everything but 1 knockdown came off that. Stupid thing is I just sold a bunch of these still in the package at Chestertown's Fishing Flea market for $2 each!!

More action than yesterday afternoon and another pretty day on the Chesapeake. Good talking to you Fish Nut, thanks for the words of wisdom! We should try to fish together sometime so I can steal some of those 6 packs I've heard about.

Nice work Jeff. We spent the day painting but we have the old girl looking better than she has in years, but I'd rather been fishing.

The downside to boat ownership. It's always tough to round up a crew for the "work days". Once you're finished though, they come out of the woodwork. Ever notice how your friends are like blisters; they always show up when the work is done!

I was having the same problem of a low hookup to knockdown ratio, and someone (I may have been Skip) suggested that I slow the boat down a tad. You're definitely doing the right thing given all the knockdowns!

Hey Don,
I think you meant speed "up" a tad. Good luck!
