Default Wish I caught a red fish, all I got today was blue fish

Nice job on the red fish marty that is flipping amazing....

Got out for about 3 hours with my oldest son today...We ended up at podickory and dropped a bucket of chum, a pair of eels, and some chunks of menhaden...

The eels got us nothing and I was surprised as heck by that...

I did get a number of blues in the 16" to 18" range with the chum and putting a half ounce sinker on the line with a float...Kept the menhaden chunks about 6 feet below the surface and the blues really liked that...Nothing on the bottom lines...No stripers but saw many rays eating bait...

We were on the 20/30 line with about 4 other boats...Gorgeous evening, got a few fish had a few cold ones...Was great...But I would have traded all those bluefish in for one redfish...Its been 4 to 5 years since I caught one in the bay and it was not the size of the one marty brought in....
