Default 9/3 and 9/5 Report

Not a whole lot to report... Got out of work early Friday 9/3 and the reports showed the bay being rough so I decided to go out of Smith's and throw a few crab traps out and relax a little in the Severn. I ended up with a 1/2 bushel for dinner. The weekend is starting out nice!

Sunday we headed out of Truxton with flat seas at daylight. We made great time to Bloody Point and started trolling for rocks and blues. About an hour after daylight the wind picked up and the waves were beating on us pretty good. Ended up picking up 1 Rock at 24" and nothing else trolling. With dinner taken care of I ran over to Thomas point and used up some Blood worms that I had and caught too many spot, perch, and croaker to count. They were all small and were released.

Hopefully next weekend the weather will cooperate and start some great fall fishing!
