Default Stone Rock

Gave it a shot this afternoon with an old buddy who doesn't get out very often. Armed with soft crabs, the last few hours of the ebb tide, and a fairly calm bay things were looking good. George at Tyler's told us that the evening bite had been good and that one of his customers had done well yesterday. Counted at least 10 boats motoring around looking for Drum as we were seaching. Found the marks but no takers. I don't think its hot and heavy but the Drum are in. Ended up with some Rock we jigged up near the lighthouse earlier and some NICE Croaker on Stone Rock. Be prepared with several rods as you will lose rigs. We used a combo of egg and bell sinkers and lost 5-6 of each....price you pay.
Another BEAUTIFUL day to be on the water
