Default Horrible Weekend

Between Friday and Sunday, we fished five trips. Three full day trips and two half-day trips. 36 hours fishing. 23 rods. Six fish came to the cleaning table. 12 "slot fish" and one 27" fish released.

Friday: Caught 9, Kept 3.
Sat Morning: Caught 3, Kept 0
Sat Afternoon/Evening: Caught 3: Kept 1
Sunday Morning: Caught 3: Kept 1
Sunday Afternoon/Evening: Caught 1: Kept 1

Fished around 85A, 83-82 and even all the way down to 78A. No difference - it all sucked.

Just talked to some friends - today was no better.

You do know an odd number of rods is ban voodoo ?

You know it is slow fishing when I go to work instead of trolling. Figure if the pros on big boats are struggling - no real sense wasting time until it gets better.

Tawn, be glad you didnt fish today. I fish SR to below 85A and only caught 2 fish all morning. 1 38"er and one 34"er. They both came within minutes of each other.

The worst part was the jellyfish. No matter if I were in shallower water or out in the channel, I was getting completely covered up. NON STOP pulling lines to clean them. As soon as I was done one set of rods (each side of planers and boat rods) I move right to the next. For somewhat giggles (even though it wasnt funny) I pulled the same rods I just re-set and they were covered. I have NEVER seen it so bad. Fishing was not fun! I wanna go south this weekend!
