I went Friday evening after the wind died down on the Severn and caught 3/4's bushel of nice large crabs. We caught some huge females that were thrown back along with alot of small crabs. The most keepers we had on one run on a 1000' line was 9. I have never tried the evening or afternoon for crabs... but I liked not dealing with the pressure I am use to in the mornings.

The tide was high when we came in at dark! The water was even with the top of Smith's Marina piers.
