Default Report 19 June Bloody pt.

Left the Severn River Yacht Basin at 6:00am. The crew was my brother Tyler, my friend Todd, and I. Head out the Severn and stopped by Leo James for chum and bait. Saw some good marks on the meter in Mills creek on the way in. Decide to drop lines on the way out and picked up 4 spot in 30 minutes. I wanted to catch the tide at bloody point so we did not put much effort in to the spot but they are there. After a 20-30 minute boat ride we anchored just north of Bloody Point in 22ft of water. Set out the chum and 4 lines. Two fish finder with 2oz and 2 on floats on shimano baitrunners. On the floats one was staggered at 10ft and the other at 15ft. It was now 8:30a.m. and high tide was 1014 figured it would be a little bit of a wait. All of a sudden line starts peeling off and a cow nose ray put up a god fight and is release. At 9:14a.m. get hit and a nice 26” rock on the boat so the skunk is off. About 20 minutes later another line goes off and another rock to the boat, but it had a lot of sores so back it went. The bite died at about 10:30am. Stayed in the area till noon and pulled the hook and called it a day the boat traffic was increasing and so was the washing machine chop. All in all was a good day we ended with 3 cow nose rays and 2 rock.
