Default HI Marker 5/14

Fished just south of the HI Marker today. Had 10 fish, smallest 33", largest 39". Most fish on the west side of the deep in 50-60' of water. Only 3 of the 10 came off the boards....

Could have trolled only boat rods .

Congrats on a great day! Sounds like a lot of folks everywhere had a tough day out there but you had them dialed in. Don't you wish the fish would just tell you, "today we are only biting deep, boat rods" so don't have to put out those damn planer boards and all the extra gear? I know, that would take all the fun out of it.
Thanks for the report!

Had me one of them 40 gallon days also. Sailed from the South River to #78 and set up shop in that area. Worked hard to catch our limit of 2.........Mark

Mark, Despite how fuel efficient our boats are, they still get better fuel mileage behind a truck

I may make one more trip south next week. Probably Solomons but PLO isnt out of the question. If any of you guys are up for the trip, let me know!

After that it is chumming and jigging until the live lining gets good (which is the most fun in my book!)

F*%K you guys and those single four strokes

Luckily my fuel totalizer goes three digits and credit card has high limit.

Oh well , gotta pay to play this game.

Congrats on making the long run pay off - crazy how fish some times prefer boards or boat rods.
