I was going to ask you to grade the performance of Maryland's DNR in keeping this stock viable, but I have to confess, the Atlantic Marine Fisheries has a whole lot more to answer to than just Maryland.
There isn't a place or time that these fish go, that they aren't in season and being hammered. How did we get to this predicament?

When you go the the Fishing Flea Markets, look for the DNR booth and ask them what grade they would give themselves for the managing of the rockfish stock in Maryland. What do you think their answer will be
They are going to get tired of me searching them out and asking this question at every fee market opportunity.
