Went down to do a good cleaning on the boat. When I arrived I found Marty's boat in the driveway on the trailer and Marty sitting on the picnic table. He looked like a little boy that someone had just taken his candy away
I questioned what was wrong and he couldn't get boat in the water due to the flood tide. Well to make him feel better I told him I would take him fishing as soon as boat was cleaned and the frown turned upside down. We hit the water around 5:00 and was greeted at the shoals by peanut bunker busting everywhere and once we located some fish Marty started tossing fubber and me metal. Marty was first to hook up with a nice 23" and it was released. I then hooked up with a fat 26"+ fish and after Marty put his best Jimmy Houston move on him it was put in the live well.( we were not planning on keeping so cooler and net back sitting on the dock.) Action continued for a couple hours and after keeping another two over 23" we headed for the barn. Great nite on the water with Marty.
