Upper Bay 5/20/12 Evening

Short report but figured I would get it out there...

1> Wow pulled over by DNR 3 times in the last 4 trips...I know last week was national boating safety week, but wow...Most asked for item was a good fire extinguisher....

2> I counted just under a dozen dead fish from the western side to the channel...Two of them appeared to be white perch....

3> The damned rays are back...Lost two rigs to them this week already.

4> Still not much to report on bottom feeders like Perch and Croaker...Starting to get worried, especially for Croaker in the upper bay...Conditions were looking perfect now the O2 levels are horrible...

5> Algae still on top but it looks like it is getting smaller each time I am out...

6> Did manage to get one ray, one perch, one rock in about 2 hours last night, but that was bad compared to just a week ago...

Will post next time I am out...

The Perch should be on fire now, and I really thought we would run into some stray Blues by now.

Maybe this weekend.....
