Unhappy Trolled

Put out a trolling spread of small spoons and jigs on Saturday, got beaten to the point of misery. The heat is too brutual to fish other than early morning and late evening. zero rockfish trolling 20-35ft of water.

I was out bottom fishing and tried the bridge live lining and jigging for a while with luck doing the bottom fishing, no luck at the bridge.

Thank God for the breeze made it a bit bumpy at times but it would have been miserable without it.

Heard a May Day call about a 16' boat sinking off of Love Pt. Pretty sure I heard all four people in the boat were retrieved by other boaters in the area but they switch communications to cell phone. Would like to get that all were rescued and safe confirmed.

Got out after the storms past through...Had about 2 or so hours out...No rock but caught a number of perch and some really nice croaker....love the fight they give...

Over the last week or so I had not seen any croaker, was thinking they were done for the year...Thank goodness that is not the case....

As usual the bite really turned on at Sundown.....About 15 to 17 foot of water the croaker were tearing it up...
