Default And to Prove There's Still Fish in the Bay.....

I caught this one last week a few days after Irene hit...the water was like GLASS.

Well north ofthe bridge in less than 15' of water off of the western shore:

It's been great for a while now....probably the best year I've ever had despite the crappy start to the year.


I think I've crossed that threshhold from being mostly a freshwater/largemouth fisherman to fishing more for the tidal species like Rockfish and Blues.

I still throw a lot of the same lures as I did when fishing freshwater, and some have paid off handsomely.

That is the nice thing about fishing for stripers, you can use your bass rods and fish just about the way you do for largemouth bass. Thanks for the report and keep up the good work.
