Default 9/19/11 At least there are fish still out there...

Tried perching for a little while and came up empty...

Changed baits to go after larger fish...Got one decent sized striper and a pair of these...My oldest pulled this one in...Neither one of us complained....

Other notes, main stem of the bay does look a lot better, still not as good as after a rough thunderstorm, the channels are getting clogged up, and the interior creek has a good amount of debris piling up on the shores...

Temps were around 72....water still muddy, think its going to be a while before that clears up....But, the fish are there....

Nice cat!

I was working over on the shore last week and pulled 2 huge cats out of a small pond in between appointments. They hit on a 5" junebug worm being jigged around some structure. Each one had to go at least 7 pounds.

I wonder if they gorge themselves trying to fatten up for the winter? Seems they've been really active everywhere lately.
