Not to stir up a pile of it, but things are getting a bit touchy on TF. Anybody who spends time on a fishing website loves to fish and catch fish above all else. I like jigging, LL and trolling. I like trolling with friends who generally do not fish for the ease and social aspects. There seemed to be a growing LTJ versus trolling mentality. The vast majority would rather have more days catching and fewer days keeping. Saving rockfish by banning C&R trolling is like trying to pick the fly sh*t out of the pepper with chop sticks. Another words, it is a futile effort.

Anyway, back to fishing. Whoever wants to fish on a real boat ( happy Judge owner, right Greg) with great electronics (love my 4010, thanks for the deal Jim) come on down to Breezy, it is happening right now. Family fishing Sunday but later next week is wide open for those who want to go. I do not want anything other than company, laughs and of course pullage.

Agreed. I love all aspects of fishing. I enjoy throwing a jig, chumming/chunking, eeling, trolling, etc. I have had great days fishing each of the methods and I have had skunks fishing each way too. They are all sporting to me and allow me to enjoy our wonderful natural resources. I love sharing and reading about other fisherman who have great times out on the water regardless of method too. With all that said, I am looking forward to trolling up some big fish! I have the fever again

Baldy, To me TF isnt evil, just the judgements against some that enjoy fishing a certain way without justified reasoning. I will still participate over there but think I will reserve my reports for over here as to not be judged if my method was as sporting as another guys. I too will probably spend more time posting here

Back to fishing..

Paul...

I was thinking of you guys on the ride home as the winds picked up some and it started to spit rain. We were nice and dry while out of the wind cruising back at 27-28mph

When you going fishing with me again? I promise no accidents

It really never got bad, maybe 1'. What an eerie afternoon. No current, no fish over what had been a hot area, and you could sense a calm before the storm. We could see fronts looming but they kept missing us. The water was flat till 4:30, then the ripples showed up and not long after wind out of no where appeared. We hauled west and then north. Did see a helo an CG boats running a search grid south of the bridge

Hoping we can run south Tues but weather looks bad. Looking forward to it.
