Default fishing 10/8

Lou hasn't had his boat out since Ed Miller "tuned" his motor and got rid of his "bad" gas. Sooo, today we ran his boat from SP south toward the anchored ships. I had done Okay down that way last week, so why not

Found some birds and breaking fish, but everything was 17 inches Left them and tried in deeper water with trolling rods

Picked up a 27 inch fish and a friend (Phil) picket up two 28 inch fish This must be the area!!! But alas, started to pick up a BUNCH of 18 inch fish. Found so many, I got tired of reeling them in

Current had swung the big anchored ships south, and figured we may have to wait until the current slowed.

Saw some boats circling; but they were on the opposite side of the channel (eastern shore side). It's a long troll to where they were, but we had to get out of the nursery anyway.

Picked up more 18 inch fish as we crossed the channel. By the time we got there, all boats had left and only a few birds were sitting on the water. Suddenly, one rod went down. Then two, three, four and five Some umbrella's had two fish on.

Deck was covered with fish. We kept a nice 26 and two more 22's to make our limit. We tossed several "keepers" back; and headed for home.

Not much in the way of debris. Saw more small stuff today (outgoing tide brought trash south?). However, it was so flat, it was easily avoided.

Fish were all healthy. Go get em'
