A little report for our resident globe trotter-

Margaret and I caught 5 decent fish ( 23"-27" ) trolling above the bridge this eve. Ran hoses, drones, even a Crippled Alewife- all 5 fish hit the hoses. Heard reports of some small blues being caught above the bridge but I didn't get any. Still haven't fixed the livewell soooo trolling still is the method of choice.

Last night, up North, Margaret caught her first fish ever vertical jigging- 17.5"!! She thought it was fun and all but I think still likes trolling better. My Gal!!!!

Jeff, thanks for the fishing report. I have a bunch of hoses I've collected over the years. We can get together at Mikes and you can look through them and show me how you "kink" them.
Skip showed me once. I think he said you also need thicker wire hoses to help hold their shape.
Keep those reports from above the bridge coming. I'll be back in the slip (Bodkin Creek).

Bruce should be hammering the fish above the bridge as well

Thanks Jeff. I was out yesterday also. Tried a new location with cut bait. ended up with a bunch of fish with sores on them. I am giving up...... I am setting up my trolling rigs for the next trip. Hoses, and drones I can do that......
