Default Trolling Saturday For BUBBA

All of this talk about big fish has me ready to go. I am going to try and get out tomorrow/ Saturday. I know south is the best bet for big fish I haven’t decided on how far to go. I will be breaking out the planer boards and some of the big stuff to see if bubba is home. One side of the boat small lures and the other side big monster catching super special lures.

They did catch a big fish in the 98 rock tournament last weekend. It was reported to be 41 lbs out of Chesapeake beach . Anyone heard the same report?

I have to work next few days but I'll pass on some intell.

The guys in the 98 Rock tournament only got 1-2 big fish each - but most finished in the money.

Heard some off PLO - Hoopers - #78 - normal early big fish locations.

I plan to try Veteran's Day - 11th .
I've done well off CCNPP / Gas Dock area that day in years past.
Weather permitting - that's where I'll try with the large stuff.

Good luck.

Todays Calvert Recorder posted the top three winners from the Monster Rockfish Tournament by Region... Southern Region: 1st. place = 48" / 45.3 lbs, 2nd. place = 47.75" / 43.5 lbs, 3rd. place = 46" / 36.65 lbs. Northern Region: 1st place = 45" / 30.3 lbs, 2nd place = 32" / 13.4 lbs, 3rd place = 31.25" / 13 lbs.... Looks like the bigger fish are still a little further south. Good luck tomorrow!
