Default Decent day short and sweet

Made it to the bridge around 9:30, set lines and enjoyed the day. First fish 11:00, 65 ft of water on 7/4 white tandem. #2 fish 11:30 deep umbrella white w/28 oz. in 58 ft water. 3rd fish 2:00 on same 7/4 tandem 40 ft of water. One knockdown on a 21 tony lost it. Sorry no pic's, all fish right at 36".

Moving to HH South on the 11th. Didn't see Capt John, but then I was a little north of his hunting grounds. Tried Mlag on 68 but couldn't raise him. We didn't see another boat fishing all day around us.

Nice work Bruce! My boat Bottom work is finished and I should get splashed by the end of this week. I do hope Mike's North was able to open today if I am gonna be in the water this weekend! . Might be just the spot for a shakedown!!! (Cruise of course)

I could hear you guys like you were in my cockpit, but I couldn't see another boat even with binoculars. I figured you were down that way.

Thanks for the intel, Bruce.

I usually start my season around the bridge (or Love Point). Were you on the Eastern side of the channel?

Mike
