Default DNR at Work....

Heading back from location X, just a tad south of Chessy Beach, and on the Eastern side of the main channel, three boats in a triangle. Looked fishy, but not fishy enough to take a closer look.

Upon return to port, three DNR trucks with empty trailers in the parking lot.

Not really a place where you would *think* nets would be placed, but anythings possible.

Any ideas what they were up to ????

I think that is near the location that they found some nest last year. I remember a bunch of fish being hauled into Chesapeake beach last year by Dnr

DNR was setting more nets, so they could "discover" them in two days.

I heard Greg hurt his back setting nets last week.

PSG members were hauling nets for "fish sandwiches" at this years PSG fleamarket.

Anybody gat any more ideas?

900 yards is a lot of net drop over the side of 27 cork without some back pain

Yeah but that extra few illegal to trailer inches of width on your boat make it much easier.

I'm liking the sarcasm here.

But seriously, I hope they didn't find anymore nets. I hope there ARE NO MORE illegal nets....

I heard that this is all a big understanding...that what's going on is actually pre-season gill-net catch and release. Us rec's are just jumping to the wrong conclusion about a bunch of good hearted watermen.
