Default A wiring question...

I have a 350 (Chevy) Mercruiser, 1988 model. I need to find where a wire goes. It comes from the outdrive and through the transom. It looks just like an electric cord to a 110 volt house lamp (essentially two wires in one). On the end of each is a circle and one has a red sleeve. Any ideas?

Thank you, Bob

Sounds like it comes from the tilt sensor...to the tilt gauge.
