Launched yesterday at Breezy and fished from 78A ,gooses and down to the power plant and was surprised by the lack of bait . I am used to seeing a significant amount of bait this time of year . Most of the birds I saw where floating . No results just a great flat calm day on the water. It does not get any flatter on the bay in the spring than what I saw yesterday .
I was in the same area yesterday afternoon. I did see a couple of gannets, but they weren't doing anything. Very little bait seen, we were fortunate to have three Charterboat mates on the boat, which resulted in two nice fish. Slow day for it being a week out from opening day
