Default Fishing Shows on TV

I broke down and switched from antenna to Verizon Fios for TV and internet. I have the Ultimate HD package. What are your favorite fishing shows on WFN, Outdoors, NBC Sports, discovery, history etc?

The world fishing network is neat, but it seems like the shows are all about bass, muskie and walleye. When do they get to the good stuff?

In related news: I went out and bought a big new TV yesterday morning to watch the CAPS vs Pens and the Ravens game. Neither worked out very well.

My favorite used to be Dr. Jim Saltwater Fishing.. God rest his sole..

You can see old shows here: http://www.drjimsaltwaterfishing.com/

For shows today, I like City Limits & George P as my favorites

x2 on CL and GP. i also like the salty dog series. i wouldn't exactly have expected it, but i like the grander stories. i can usually hear in their telling how it stirs them and how fresh and vivid the memory is even if it's from 30 or so years ago.

also extreme fishing, henry wasjuk, flats class, getting schooled,...

i like most of the bass fishing shows, so long as it's not competition coverage. but i did find the fishomania show absolutely intrigueing. God, i pray the knuckleheads never make our fishing like that,...

2 of the other channels also rotate fishing/hunting so keep your eyes open.

I like River Monsters.

This guy goes all over the world in search of weird critters that have been reported to have attack people in rivers.

The trip itself is wild - often very far into foreign lands.

The things he reels in are cool - some you need to see yourself to believe.

I will not ruin any episodes by telling you what he lands.

Other show - Search for Big Fish - is good also.

I like the show called "Fishin with Skip". It runs on the Tidal Fish channel. Often it's only one photo long but it creates quite a stir. Why one picture lasts several days, maybe even the whole winter.

This time of the year sees a lot more hunting shows than fishing.

Since Verses was taken over they've switched most of their programming to covering mainstream sports.
