The Bay needs a good flushing, and God knows we need the rain. The Western side of the Bay is a complete cesspool, at least from CB down to the Power Plant.
I'm not asking for Katrina 2, but we could use about five inches of rain, some minor coastal flooding and wash the Bay out...
How is Earl going to effect the fishing this weekend? Will the tide push and rain cause the fish to hunker down or make them more active? I have not fished during or near an event like this and was wondering what the collect brain trust thinks.

I don't buy that logic. Heavy rains only pull more cess into the pool. Its all about nutirient runoff, and there isn't much of that going on untill it rains.
