Pictured is my father, whose fishing DAILY and actually cancelled his trip to see me this weekend, because the salmon and trout run is the best in years...
We were out there in July and heard about all the great fishing as well....best in many years. The one day we had our charter scheduled had to be cancelled because of winds. Planning to return next summer for another try.
Damn wind....got blown out of a Montauk charter trip last Friday as well. Timing has really sucked this year.
