Tournament weekend
I had a fun weekend fishing. Friday I got to fish with Kyle Johnson of Rock Solid Charters out of Solomons and learn a few things from him. We caught some fish including a 42"er that went to the scales. Saturday I fished out of Solomons on my boat with a party from NJ and landed another 42" for the scales. Fishing was slow but everyone on board got a personal best striped bass. Sunday we had a few flurries of activity and boat some eater-size 28-31" fish as well as some big fish to 40".
Hot baits have been solo parachutes 5-7 bars behind the board on calm days. Solo 3, 5, and 7 ozers have been the best.
