Default Go South young man!

Every time I think of getting a larger boat for chartering, I try to remember that I got away from not being able to trailer with my old 30'x11' boat in order to go where the fish are for memorable fishing trips. This weekend was another example.

Nice schools of fish south. Birds will show you the way! Birds were so thick that I was able to pick them up on my 4kw dome radar out ~3 miles.

No big fish but plenty of schoolie fish from 18"-32". We could have easily jig and caught plenty but our goal was to pluck a big fish or two if the opportunity reared its head. All but one fish came on 6" small baits. When cleaning the fish, the bellies were full of peanut bunker.
