One of the best days ever

[5th Tuition]

I have been wanting to get my twin granddaughters back out on the boat. It's been a year since they "took a ride" on P-Pop's boat. They are 3 1/2 now and stable on their feet and used to swimming in the community pool.
Today was not stifling hot and a decent breeze would keep us cool. So everyone met at the boat, and off we went.
The creek was flat calm, so the girls were allowed to stand at the rail (with their mom close by - you don't see their dad sitting in front of them as well).

We went over to the "swimming hole" and their mom showed them the proper way to enter the water (8 ft deep).

Not to be out done; P-Pop had to get wet too (even though I didn't bring my bathing suit)

We enjoyed the cool water.

After swimming, we ate a hardy lunch and went to do what P-Pop likes. We went fishing

Both girls caught perch and thought it was great fun reeling in fish.

What a fun day
The girls usually take a nap around 1pm, but they were so enthused about the boat that the time just slipped away. We didn't get back into the slip until 3pm and they were pooped

I'm sure they fell asleep in their carseats on the way home
