Awesome - congrats.

FWIW: I think a release citation has to clearly show length on a measuring device. Yours in longer then yard stick but tough to guess how much bigger. I use a 48 inch one with a 90* at end to put fish nose against.

Great trip! Congrats.
So what was the cause of the engine trouble in the fall?

Default Engine trouble

It was the VRO motor, it's the fuel and oil mixture pump, when it starts to go bad it mixes too much oil creating more smoke and oil coming out the exhaust.
$500 part $200 for labor.

Wow; for a motor, that was an inexpensive fix. Good luck this season

Congrats - gotta love it when mayhem starts like that.

Hoping and praying for a better season than last year - your day gives me hope!

No kidding. Good old two strokes. Less complicated so typically easier to fix, and the smoke keeps the mosquitoes at bay! Although, sometimes I feel bad when starting up both motors at a dockside restaurant.

That is one hell of a day on the water, especially running solo. Hope to get on the water soon, I would love an action packed day like the one you had!
