These things are bullet proof.

I hang my scuba diving gear outside to dry after diving in the bay.
Last dive was in late October. Now / then saw a sting bug on the gear.

Went to Cozumel , Mexico in December. Took my dive gear and did about 16 dives in a week. Some dives were 90 minutes underwater - others dives we went to 110 feet down.

Came home and put the dive in a large tub of freshwater / soap to rinse off the salt water. Gear soaked 48 hours - then was rinsed and soaked in just freshwater another 24 hours.

Let it dry a day in the bathtub - then used a lube on the zippers.
In one of the pockets of my vest was a live stinkbug.

Unreal what it had been through yet was still crawling away.

Heaven help us come springtime when they come out of hiding.
