Default Lazy day

Decided to fun fish on Wednesday, so I met "5th Tuition" Marty and "Just Chillin" Alan at 7:00am at the dock. Set lines at 35 feet, set up went quickly since I had Alan at the wheel and Marty setting lines with me. The fish that were in the area 2 days before seemed to have scattered so we headed for the deep. Boated a 38" around he 82 bouy and circled back but nothing else was there. Headed south of 82 to where we had a bite Saturday and found some bait and managed a 38" and a 42" plus a 22" throwback. Decided to call it a day and head in before the rain started again. Heard from several charters that had bad days. I guess we were lucky. Sounds like the bite may have been better down by the gas docks and below. Had a great day with friends on the water.

Bruce; thanks for the invitation. It's a pleasure whenever I set foot on your boat. The fact that we pulled 3 keepers out of the bay was an added gift.

Fish tonight for dinner
Marty

Oh, glad I was able to leave you with a small memento of our trip

Glad to hear the rockfish slayer (marty) is back in the groove. He had a tough time of it last Saturday when I was with him. Hell, my bad luck may have just rubbed off on him that day. Nice catch guys!
