Default Susky shad fishing 4/17

We got blew out today on the open water today So I got the 16ft Bass Tracker ready and off to the Susquehanna we go.Only one of the crew wanted to go shad fishing .That was a good thing, anymore than two on the tracker is a little cramped. We put out of Port Deposit and up threw the rocks we go.It was first light and we were the second boat up there.Afew casts and nothing.I said to Tim maybe it over.We went as far up as the boat would go.Then it was on.We were really in to the Hickerys. We had some dubbles and non stop action till about noon.It was Tim's first time Shad fishing and he loved it.I am no expert on shad fishing.I just wanted to do some fishing and it truned out to be a great day.
