Default Report from Deale 11/15

Crew today on Sandpiper was Jerry (swartj), Mike (Striper In) and his son Mike.
The Mikes were out to learn about trolling multiple rods, so we thru out the full monte…..9 boat rods and 10 on the planer boards.
Was still a tuff bite, although better than yesterday.
We picked at them all day.
Left Deale at 700, went out to 35 feet and dropped lines, quickly had a couple shorts that were released. At 0835 the deep umbrella went down, immediately followed by a planer line getting smacked….Mike Jr grabbed the first one and Dad grabbed the second, bringing up a 19 and a 33 respectively.
At about 1015 the back umbrella went down hard and Mike Jr again got it, eventually boating a 29’ feesh.
Took a ride into shallow water to check it out to no avail and headed back to deeper waters where we had been catching.
Went out around the 82 and started the troll back towards home when the yellow umbrella hit with a nice 23”, 10 minutes later another 22’ on yellow UB, got them reset and both deep rods went down within seconds of each other producing a 19” and a 23” for our boat limit.
Was good having the Mikes on board today and young Mike got lots of practice reeling, netting, setting lines and tying knots…..bet he slept well on the car ride home.
Hopefully Mike and Mike will post some pics.
Good company, beautiful WX and a limit of fish too….life is good.
