Thanks Marty. I though Twan was the originator of these. My old set was a 36" 3 board 12" high set made out of the cheep home depot pine. They worked fine. The holes I drilled for mounting the flags were the down fall of the design . They slowly started rotting from that area. It does get crowded in a 25' boat. if I can't carry all of my gear then I will have to get a bigger boat. That's probably what happened to Twan, Bruce and Lolo.


Hopefully the will chime in with the materials they used in the build.


Also, a few years ago I flipped a board in rough weather I probably shouldn't have been fishing in. Still a little traumatized, bigger boards may add some extra insurance against that.

I don't wish a board flip on anyone.
