Default Quick fishing trip in Key West Tuesday

Figured most would t be racing down after reading this so it’s ok to be a little late posting. Fished out of Murray Marine with Streamline Charters. I have fished with Capt Jay Kent before in Alaska. Last time down we were blown out but this time Mother Nature cooperated. After catching some bait with the cast net, we headed out to the reef for a few hours.
We caught yellowtails mainly with a few blue runners, a small shark, a king mackerel, and hooked up a few fish that we THINK were decent grouper. Great weather, 68*, and awful beautiful water made for a great day of fishing.

With both boats away for the winter now, it was nice to have a last hurrah for 2017 in a place as sweet as Key West.
