Default Two keeper Rock - one hook

One cool thing with fishing - you never know what you might catch next.

I was live lining and had a hit - let Rock run for five seconds - then set the hook. I had a fish on but could also feel another fish from one of the other boats close by.

As I reeled in my fish - no one on any of the other 4 boats close by were hooked up ??????

As the Rock came near boat - saw another one swimming right behind it - not uncommon to see.

When net went over - two Rock came into the boat. At first I thought net guy was fast to get free swimming fish but then noticed my line had both fish.

Took a minute to piece it together - first Rock inhaled live Spot but some how it got out through gill cover. The second Rock took the Spot and was hooked - trapping first Rock on the leader- much like a stringer.

Best part - one was 27 - one was 30 - perfect limit. Luck was on my side - 30 lb leader broke when I tried to lift the two fish for photo - first Rock had chafed it badly.
