Default Father's Day Gift

I got myself an Aftco flying gaff handle and 6" hook for father's day. It arrived in the mail yesterday. My wife was terrified! She thinks it looks like a medieval torture device. I can't wait to use it, hopefully on a big mako this weekend!

Do you guys order your own father's day gifts or do you let the wife and kids suprise you?

When my kids were much younger, and because my wife is there step mother, I always bought my own gift, gave it to her. When the kids came over they would all wrap it together. They would always make cards, which for one reason or another I still have.

Chainsaw, Miter saw, Portable Garmin, what else... thats all I can remember.

One year my wife did buy me a lawn tractor and completely threw me off.

Kids are older now, and I'll be lucky to get a card....
