Default C.J.'s Fish !!

Come on C.J.
You can't send me a photo like this with just a few words in a text message. We need the complete story; and the location of your "mandatory" tattoo

Default Fish of a Lifetime

To go into details I haven't been able to fish a lot this year due to my kids playing travel softball and competitive Dance. I even sold my boat to the lack of being able to take it out Anyway my buddy Chris brought a new/used boat and asked me to run a spread for him to see what we could do. After seeing all these bigger fish being caught. We talked and decided to run big and small baits. Launched out of Point Lookout and headed to #62 where I got some Intel some big fish were hanging around. We trolled for about two hour and the clip popped off the board like a gun went off and the line took off screaming! Line was out 110' with a Gary Ritchie bait called Pinky Love 6/4oz tandem. Fought the fish for about 20min and got it to the side of the boat. I yelled get the net! Captain said I forgot it.... So two of us grabbed it by the gills and muscled it onto the boat. At this point we looked at eachother thinking we got a nice one. My biggest fish before yesterday was 48.5" and I've always dreamed if getting one above 50. We were blessed to do it yesterday and I thanked God right away for giving us that fish. Official Length was 50.25" and weighed 55.7 pounds. It took a team effort yesterday and everyone did a great Job. I'm hoping now Marty (5th Tuition) will invite me on his boat!

Hell, I'm never inviting you on my boat again But I will be setting out a 6/4 tandem called Pinky Love back 110 ft this spring

You know you are always welcome on my boat. we didn't get to fish together much last season because "someone" was always busy with work or "girlie" stuff

As I said in my text message to you: "Some of my guys think it's mandatory to get a rockfish tattoo for a fish over 50 inches." Just make sure the tattoo artist doesn't spell Striper with two "p's"

Congratulations on making the 50" club.

Thanks Marty and I know I'm always welcomed. These kids do keep me busy. But I love every minute of seeing them on the Ballfield or on the stage.

Awesome fish! Fishing hasn't been great this fall but there are definitely some big ones out there. That's what keeps us going back! Good job CJ...

Was going to post a report of a couple of catches at the Bay Bridge on Thursday but the catches may not have even came close to weighing what CJs fish did.
