Default Shocking

Who doesn't realize that this spring has been cooler than last year I went to the Interactive Buoy System and pulled up the numbers for today and compared them to a year ago. Below are the results

3/24/12 and (3/28/13) Water Temperatures

Patapsco 57* (43*)
Annapolis 55* (43*)
Gooses 58* (off line)
Potomac 60* (43*)

The other data (Chlorophyll, Dissolved Oxygen, Salinity, Turbidity) were not very far off from last year.

Did you think it was that much different?

I also went back to see when the bay temps were 43* last year

On Feb 10th 2012, the water temps were 42-43 degrees

Wow! That's a heck of a difference (and depressing). Is Spring EVER going to get here??
