I told them I would be in next week to work on my tackle. I still have 50% six inch shads on the rods from fall trolling. I have a bunch of 9 inch shads with stingers in them that I took off the spring spread. It will be a quick swap out of shads.

I have to look over what's left to make up some PSCR rigs

Maybe you should leave some 6" shads on to target the keeper fish (28-36") ? I sure plan too!

You are a "half empty" kind of fisherman; all my fish are going to be over forty

But seriously, a 32 inch fish has no problem with 9 inch shads. ANDDDDD, instead of using 6 inch baits, just cut 1-2 inches off the head of the shad and you have a 7 inch bait with a bigger tail and larger body profile (more vibration than a 6 inch shad)

My uncle who lives in the Adirondack mountains of New York got rid of his Tundra just because of the traction control. It drove him nuts for the exact same reasons you mentioned. I have owned Tundras since the first year they came out and I have no issue. If it is slippery I just put it in 4 wheel drive. It is not like the old days when we had to lock the hubs and lean over to one side, grab a big lever and pull like hell to hear grinding as it "might" go into 4X4 mode. Just a flip of a switch and you're in!

That's why I bought a 4X4. I love my Tundra.

Steve; I love my Tundra as well. I just learned a lesson, turn off the traction control (with the push of a button); or as you said, put it in 4x4 high mode.
This just happens to be the first time I ever experienced the RSCA mode on my truck.

Lesson learned.

I remember the first time I experienced mine, it was in a mud hole in a corn field that took me by surprise. I didn't make it out. Ended up having to put it in 4 wheel drive and hope, since I lost momentum.
