Default Summer Stripers are Finally North of the Bridge in Good Numbers

Spent about an hour and a half out last night...Pulled in 7 fish...Althought the largest was only 22, none were below tail stretching to 18....

Tried the 15 to 20 foot areas to no avail, ended up in 6 to 10 foot and it was a different story...White seemed to be the color for the bucktails and rattles that I ran...

Fish seemed healthy, although, we are getting to that time of year when getting them back in the water as fast as possible becomes a must...

Will try again tonight or tomorrow...Hopefully I have something similar to say....

To add fuel to that "spot burn" .......

West side, west of channel, from white rocks to Gibson island.

Looked for any type of underwater structure and they hit on the passes.

Good luck in the AM.

Good to see you found them close to home Mike. Might slip out in the morning. Not sure if I'll target Rock or try for some perch.

Headded south on Friday and found Hard Head, Perch, Rock in the mid 20's with a 36"er mixed in, puppy drum, and specks. One of the better days this year. Oh yeah...caught about 7 diamond backs as well. All turtles were released to fight another day....lol.

Mike and I dicked around for about 3 hours a few nights ago until it got dark and ended up hooking more than 20.

Biggest was about 22". Not a grand slam kind of fish, but they're always fun on the light gear.

Mike hooked the biggest Skate I've ever seen in my life. It took him like ten minutes to get it to the boat. Lol.....
