Default Bay Bridge on Saturday

Left the dock at 8:15 with ice on the deck. Started trolling at 9:00 just south of the LP bouy. Trolled mostly storms and 6" shads on bucktails and some spoons.
Managed 2 26" fish just north of the bridge in 55 to 65 ft. of water. Scattered bait all over the area. One fish on a 17 tony 16oz back 10 bars, and one fish on a Cap't John spoon bar 20oz 4 bars back. Also snagged something in 65 ft of water but it pulled free. No floats or flags in the area, don't know what it was. Lines out at 2:30. It was cold. Water temp around 41 deg.

Thanks for the report! Sure sounds like things are over with up here with the cold water temp. Tolchester Marina it's been as low as 38* already! Looking at the NOAA buoys, it is under 50* all the way past the tunnel already. It sure got cold quick. I got my 19'cc pulled out last night finally after being "frozen in" a few mornings already.

I just may have to go check the air temperature at Mike's today...or the internal temp of the bacon wrapped tenderloin!! I bet they have a cute gal working the bar and the kitchen will bite on any order you throw at 'em!

Mike and I are headed out around 11. If we don't catch more than a cold by about 2pm you might just find us there too.

The fishing reports sure don't look promising.
