Default On This Day 6 Years Ago (3/15/2012)

Big fish had already hit the mid/lower bay area. Captain John took 5th, Garlien, Charlie and me out for a fine day of fishing. I forget who the other fella was, but I believe he lived in Deale.

While I generally loathe social media and the inability to communicate civilly that flourishes on it, I've found it very useful for keeping information on fishing and other great events with my friends. Had I not posted these pics on FB I never would've remembered the date, who I was with or where we were catching fish (thanks to the GPS feature of the pics). These pics are all tagged as "Tilghman Island."

Nothing big (24in biggest). Really windy

Great pic's; brings back memories

The other guy is Oscar; he makes baits in Deale out of his home.
This must have been my second year with Capt John. I bought my Judge in Oct. 2012 and ran one more year as John's mate (2013).
Then, I had to leave John because I was making payments on a boat I couldn't use
I spent so much time on Patent Pending, my boat sat most of the season

But we began racking up the hours after I left

A sober mate is very hard to find let alone think like the captain! You guys made a great pair, a captain has a hard time finding mates that can set baits so captain can troll squares!!!!!

Oscar! That's right. I remembered that he made baits but have never seen him again since that day we were all out.

I still wear that same cap as the one I'm wearing in the pic of me. I'm sure I have more than 100 fishing trips invested in it.
