Phil and I took an 18" blue north of Rock Hall on a Capt. John's spoon yesterday...only fish of the day and only blue we've seen north of the BB.

Ed,

In the last week I have gotten reliable reports of blues in the 2 to 3 and 3 to 5 lb range from the mouth of the Magothy to Swan Point.

Hoping to try my luck this evening.

Mike

With the minimal rain we've had, they should be pretty thick. Lord knows the Jellyfish have found us.

I might try to sneak back out on the rowboat today and see if I can stumble into anymore back there. Rain cancelled my work for the morning.

Back in the 70's we would catch taylor blues in the back of Martin's Lagoon (Middle River). We use to row an old jon boat trolling #13 tony spoon and really small kastmasters.

My son and I are probably going to head out again Saturday and try the same thing...trolling some really small spoons and whatnot from the rowboat.

Used to catch decent Bass and Crappie at Wye Mills years ago doing that, except using a Rebel crawldad instead of spoons.
