Default Nice opening weekend

It was a bit windy this weekend. Spent a lot of time changing leaders and re rigging lures to pass the time as the storm beat boats moored in there slips. Sunday the wind switched to a west wind which made for an easy ride in the Carolina. With the wind predicted to possibly get up I headed to an old haunt and set out 3 lines. As I reached for the planner line fish on. Kept a heading directly into the current and had some more action; struggled to get a few more lines out as the fish kept bothering me. I guess that was a good problem. Once the bite stopped it was dead. Trolled for a few more hours with out a touch then I pulled lines and headed back to Solomon’s.

Good day to test the boat and get some pullage.

We are headed back out tomorrow. Trying to have a repeat of our first trip. Hopefully the wind will let me head further South and see what going on down near St Jeromes creek.

Good luck guys I will be on the boat for the next few days
