Default Please write your elected officials

I just sent out five emails. (Thanks to Ron One Fish for the encouragement.) One to the governor, one to my state senator, and three to my state delegates. If we flood these guys with messages asking them to look into the DNR situation and prevent the banning of days, maybe DNR will at least get some inquiries. Here's the links:

Find your state reps email: http://mdelect.net/electedofficials/

Working it now...
Thx Shawn.

We should have a copy for all of us to cut and paste. I"m sure more would participate if were easier to do. I'm not confident enough in my writing ability to be "that guy".

cut and pastes will be dismissed. A petition would be better if that's your approach. Best is a flood of independently thought out letters emphasizing how important this is to you, justifying your position, and identifying this as a primary consideration in who you vote for.

I write regulations for a living, for what it's worth.

You should also add Secretary John Griffin of the DNR to the list also, that will let him know we are watching.

I have finished drafting my letter today, having it proof read and should drop it in the mail tomorrow in addition to emailing it. I figure that paper copy may draw more weight.

I sent my emails.

I took the approach of the fiscal impact it will cause to the state.

While they couldn't care less about what we want, the talk of money always seems to get their attention.
