Default report...MidBay 11/16

Crew today was Ron, Mike and John, we left Deale at 0700 and headed where we left them yesterday….ran east and dropped lines in 50 feet.
Ron is just getting into trolling and serious Bay fishing so had a lot to absorb with multiple rods, planer boards, etc. I’ve fished with John before and Mike has fished a lot with folks on this board, so some experienced hands were on deck.
A slow bite today, had to work for them……lots of bait and fish on the finder but they seemed to have lockjaw.
Gave us a chance to tell stories, talk fishing and eat donuts.
We ended up with 6 fish for the day, a 37, 31, 29, 24 and a pair of 20”, all but one came on deep umbrellas…..nothing on the board rods.
The highlight of the day was Ron landed his personal best fish at 37”…..congrats!
Weather was great, the predicted winds never really showed up, bit breezy round 1100 or so then laid back down.
Not many boats out, didn’t see a Grady all day……hmmmm….musta been the wind.
Couple pics….Ron with his big ‘un and Ron and John cleaning up…..
